Tokyo Residents Trying to Return to Normal
People who live in Tokyo and fled the city after strong aftershocks and fear of high radiation from the earthquake and nuclear crisis are beginning to return back to normal this week. The city train stations were busy today as many returned home. Tourists and Americans left the city in droves, and many who live in Tokyo also left. Schools were shutdown and companies allowed workers to work remotely. Officials expect Tokyo to return to normal pace on Tuesday after a 3-day weekend. Today is a national holiday in Japan. Many people returning to Tokyo said they still fear nuclear radiation. 9&10 News will have more on this story during 9&10 News at Noon.
