Kalkaska Kaliseum Boasts Budget Surplus
For the first time since they opened, a Kalkaska County nonprofit actually has a budget surplus. The Kalkaska Kaliseum says that money can be rolled back into programs and new equipment. They say they've been working hard to cut expenses, and a millage helped their situation. They say more people are using the Kaliseum these days, which is another reason for the surplus. The Kaliseum is a multi-million dollar facility.
