Vegetable Shortage Straining Local Restaurants

A nationwide shortage of vegetables is hitting Northern Michigan restaurants. Prices of fresh produce like carrots and green beans have spiked in the past couple months. Local restaurants say tomatoes prices have nearly doubled. The shortage has forced one local chef to remove some mixed greens from his salads because the quality of what is available is poor. 9 and 10's Kyle Mitchell and Photojournalist Corey Petee have more on the shortage and the impact it is having on local restaurants.
