CMU women top Ball State 81-66
The Central Michigan women's basketball team had five players reach double figures in a 81-66 win over Ball State on Wednesday night. Brandie Baker scored 10 seconds into the game, giving the Chippewas a lead they would never give up. Baker finished with 17 points. Shonda Long led the Chippewas with 18 points while Kaihla Szunko added 15, Niki DiGuilio 13 and Taylor Johnson 11. CMU has now won seven of their last eight games and is 18-8 overall, 10-4 in the MAC. The Chippewas' close out the regular season with a home game against Eastern Michigan this Saturday and a trip to Toledo on March 2nd.
