Ski Resorts See Busy Weekend Despite the Initial Lack of Snow

Although snow was scarce this President's Day weekend – up to now anyway – the hills were not, continuing to provide good business for Northern Michigan ski resorts. Caberfae Peaks in Cadillac is doing whatever it takes to keep the hills full – even if that means making snow to insure that the slopes are snow-covered. They say having a lot of natural snow is great, but not having it doesn't mean they won't stay busy. Caberfae officials are happy President's Day weekend continues to be a busy one for the resort. Since it looks like winter is here to stay for a bit longer, resorts should continue to attract visitors as long as mother nature permits it.
