Road Closed in Mecosta County Causing Headaches

A section of M-20 in Mecosta County is closed because the Schrader Creek is flooding. The standing water has started to freeze over and authorities have set up a detour around the area. Businesses in downtown Mecosta say they take a major hit when the road is closed. In years past the community has tried to fix the problem, but MDOT funding has been an issue.
