D.N.R.E. battling Beech Bark Disease
A combination of tiny insects and fungus are threatening Beech trees in the State of Michigan. It's called Beech Bark Disease, and it's been found in many Michigan counties, including Crawford. John McGowan and Photojournalist Eli Gardiner met with a D.N.R.E. Forester Wednesday who discussed what the tree disease is and what they're trying to do about it.
