Deputies Search for Suspect in Isabella County Home Invasion & Assault

The Isabella County Sheriffs Department is looking for a man who they say climbed through a window and inappropriately touched two people who were sleeping. Deputies say the man got in through an unlocked window on Bertshire Lane in Union Township around 1:35 a.m. and touched the people on top of their clothing. The suspect was scared off by one of the people inside the home. The suspect may have gotten away on his bicycle. He is described as a white man between the ages of 18 and 20, standing 6 feet tall with a thin build and shaggy brown hair. He was wearing a bright green shirt, dark shorts and white tennis shoes. The bike the suspect was seen on is black with silver handlebars and black tape. The seat isn't on a post, but is connected directly to the frame. A K-9 unit was brought in but couldn't track him down. If you have any information about the suspect or the bicycle, you are asked to contact the Isabella County Sheriff's Department.
