Fundraiser underway in Isabella Co. to Honor Dan Denslow

Detective Sergeant Dan Denslow died less than a year ago. Now his former partner has begun a fundraising effort, so the “Dan Denslow Advocacy Center” in Isabella County can be properly identified. Denslow, who worked for the Isabella County Sheriff's Department for 34 years, was well-known as a child advocate. In the house on South Lincoln road which will bear his name, Denslow helped establish a forensic interview room, where children who are victims or witnesses to crime, can tell their stories in a safe, and normal environment. John McGowan, and Photo-journalist Ben Talarico have more on the effort to honor Denslow's legacy. TAG: If you'd like to contribute to the sign fund, send cash or a check to Det. Sgt. Dave Patterson–“Attention Denslow sign fund”, Isabella Co. Sheriff's Dept., 207 North Court St., Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858. For more information, you can contact him at 989-772-5911.
