Manton Stabbing Suspect Facing More Serious Charge

A man accused of a bar stabbing in Manton could spend the rest of his life in prison. On Wednesday a judge increased Daniel Raney's charge to assault with intent to murder. Raney was originally charged with assault with intent to do great bodily harm, a ten year sentence. Police say he stabbed another man outside a bar last month, puncturing his lung.
