Red Cross Provides Relief at Meridian Fire

The wildfire efforts go beyond those fighting the flames. The Red Cross has also been on scene since the Meridian Fire broke out Tuesday. The Red Cross in West Branch has called in help from at least five counties. It's one of their larger undertakings, with anywhere from 15 to 25 volunteers on any given shift, working 24 hours a day. The Red Cross says they won't stop working until the firefighters do. 9&10's Alex Jokich and photojournalist Corey Petee have more details after witnessing the volunteer efforts.
