One Teen Killed, Two Others Hurt in Benzie County Crash

Northern Michigan's News Leader is following a developing story out of Benzie County. The sheriff's department tells 9&10 News that a car carrying three Benzie High School students crashed, killing one and hurting the two others. It happened just before five this afternoon on Pioneer Road, near Thompsonville. Deputies say the driver lost control on a curve and rolled over several times. The crash killed a 17 year old girl. A 17 year old boy from Interlochen and a 16 year old girl from Thompsonville were hurt. There's no word yet on the extent of their injuries.
