Across the State – Meijer Gardens

The first full week of May is a big one for our “On the Road” crew; they left Northern Michigan to visit some great tourist attractions to the south. Kaz and Corey kicked off the week at the Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park in Grand Rapids. The park opened in 1995 and now is amongst the 100 most-visited museums in the world. On the grounds you'll find Michigan's largest tropical conservancy, more than 30 acres of walkable grounds that includes several dozen sculptures and an amphitheater that hosts summer concerts. This summer the museum is also featuring the breathtaking glass works of Dale Chihuly. For more information visit
