Suttons Bay Advances to State Championship Game
Making their first boys basketball semifinals appearance since 1964, Suttons Bay defeated Bridgman 52-38 this afternoon. Both teams struggled from the floor with the Norsemen hitting just 30% from the floor including 1-of-18 from 3-point land. Bridgman had even more issues, connecting on just 20.6% of its shots including a staggering 6-of-41 from beyond the arc. Suttons Bay ruled the glass, out-rebounding Bridgman 57-41. Dwaun Anderson led Suttons Bay with 16 points, 7 rebounds, 6 blocks and 5 assists. Chase Palmer added 9 points and 10 boards. The Norsemen advance to Saturday's Class C State Championship game against Melvindale ABT. Tip-off at the Breslin Center is scheduled for noon.
