State Legislators Take Snowmobile Ride to Help Tourism
State legislators and members of the Michigan Snowmobile Association took off on a two day snowmobile ride. The riders left Ranch Rudolf near Traverse City Saturday morning and will follow a trail throughout the area. The ride's purpose is to help teach downstate lawmakers more about the local snowmobile and tourism industry, in hopes they'll help promote Northern Michigan winter sports and tourism. Members of the Michigan Snowmobile Association are guiding the lawmakers on their trip. They'll return to Traverse City Sunday morning.
