A pair of snowmobilers caught in the act couldn't outrun Sheriff's Deputies through two counties. It all started just before nine last night when deputies in Kalkaska County were called to investigate a home break-in in Rapid River Township. The suspects left the area on a snowmobile. Investigators followed the tracks into Antrim County and surprised the suspects in the process of breaking into a second home. That's when the two took off, leading officers on a chase back into Kalkaska County. During the chase, the person driving the sled lost control and clipped the rear of a patrol car, throwing both from the sled. Both were treated and released from the hospital and are now in jail.
