Armed Robbery in Mason County

Ludington police are still searching for three men who they say forced their way into a home after pistol-whipping the man who answered the door. The investigation states it happened Sunday morning on West Loomis Street and the suspects got away with cash. The victims were able to give police some information on the three male suspects who entered the house. They say one of the men is between 5'6 and 5'8 and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants with a red bandana covering his face. He was also wearing red and black Adidas shell-toe tennis shoes. The second suspect was a man who wore a white hooded sweatshirt and bandana. The third suspect is a black male around 6'3 with a slender build, wearing dark clothing. A witness says an older maroon or burgundy Pontiac Grand Am was in the area and could be connected to the incident. Police don't know why that specific house was targeted, and they still have many unanswered questions about this case, but offer some helpful tips on how you can keep some unwanted visitors out. 9&10's Cali O'Rourke and photojournalist Stephanie Adkins have more details.
