Cadillac Area Public Schools To Cut Staff and Programs

With 1.6 million dollars to trim from their budget, Cadillac Area Public Schools will likely have to cut staff and programs. But they're also looking at collaborating with other districts to try and save some money. Currently, McKinley Elementary School teaches general education students and special needs students. But the Superintendent says by distributing the general education kids and bringing in special needs kids from other districts, they will save 100,000 dollars. Any changes they approve would go into effect next fall.
