The Chippewa County Animal Control wants five greyhounds to race their way into your home. They adopted these retired race dogs from Florida with money from different animal welfare groups. Now these dogs just need a permanent home. Even though they used to race, they're actually very calm. The dogs are healthy and have all their shots. Animal Control says it's rare to see these dogs in the Upper Peninsula because of their short hair. The dogs are currently in foster homes, but are ready for adoption.
