Coast Guard May Get New Helicopters

Chances are you've seen the U.S. Coast Guard H65 helicopters in the skies of Northern Michigan, but hopefully you're not too attached. If President Obama's proposed budget goes through, the U.S. Coast Guard in Traverse City could see new aircraft. The Coast Guard says change would be a good thing. The 2011 budget still has to be approved by Congress and then ultimately signed by the President. If everything goes through, people in the Great Lakes area could see the new H60 helicopters take flight in 2011. Alex Jokich and photojournalist Jordan Nagel have more details after spending some time on the hangar.
