Knowing how to react in an emergency situation could mean the difference between life or death, that's why students in Wexford County got some hands on training. About ninety students at the Wexford-Missaukee Tech Center participated in the event. They had a chance to use a fire extinguisher as Haring Township Firefighters stood by. They also took part in a disaster scenario rushing to save classmates and helping them to safety after a pretend-tornado devastated their school. Students who've been through the program have even later found specific hazards in their own homes.
