A Kalkaska man is in jail today after police in Traverse City arrested him at a gas station. They say he was drunk behind the wheel with his young son in the vehicle. Police say he pumped gas into his truck at the Eastside Marathon on Munson Avenue Tuesday night, but did not pay. When police showed up, he was still parked, and police say he had more than twice the legal amount of alcohol in his system. Police placed the man's 3-year-old son with family friends, while the man faces charges for drunk driving for a second time.
