Goodwill Stores In Need Of More Donations

Goodwill stores across Northern Michigan are in need of more donations. Leaders at Goodwill say donations are down, while they're seeing an increase in shoppers. They say January, February and March are usually slow with donations, but this year is especially bad. Goodwill has even had to buy clothing to help keep racks full. Things like sweaters, house wares, furniture and books are especially in need. Goodwill stores in Traverse City, Cadillac, Gaylord and Petoskey accept donations seven days a week.
