Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. March

Central Michigan University's Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Week kicked off today. More then 550 students, faculty and staff members took part in today's Dr. King CommUNITY March and Peace Vigil. Participants marched throughout CMU's campus and downtown Mt. Pleasant where they stopped at the Town Center to hear speakers and celebrate the day. One of the week's organizers says the march allows students to better understand what the day stands for, and what Dr. King stood for. For a list of events, please click link below.
