For thousands of years humans have tried to hook animals up to sleds to make trips through snow-covered lands go faster. Horses worked out pretty well, but the emu sled was an unmitigated disaster. And let's not even go into how badly the sloth sled failed. But dogs also did the trick, so we dispatched Kaz and Corey to Kalkaska Thursday morning to do a little mushing.
