Local Methodist Group asks for Help for Haitians
The problems in Haiti began long before Wednesday's Earthquake. And one local church group has been trying to do what it can to help. The group, from the Traverse Bay United Methodist Church, has been visiting that country every year but one since 1999. And the political situation kept them away the year they couldn't go.
