A Cadillac man could spend the rest of his life in prison after police say he repeatedly raped a young woman for the past ten years. Danny Simmons was charged with ten counts of rape and five counts of sexual misconduct. He is currently in the Wexford County Jail. Michigan State Police in Cadillac are investigating the case and say the victim came forward and detailed years of abuse on Monday. They say they worked quickly to arrest Simmons not only because of the danger he posed to the victim, but because he and his wife own and operate Simmons Daycare and Preschool as well as an adult foster care facility in Cadillac. 9&10's Kalee Iacoangeli and photojournalist Stephanie Adkins spoke with investigators about the case.
