It runs through October 31st.
For the rest of the state, opening day is October 20th with the season concluding on November 14th.
Wondering where you should go for the best chance to bag a pheasant?
Outdoor Life Magazine has rated the thumb area in Michigan as one of the top 10 places in the country for pheasant hunting. Other areas good for hunting include south-central counties into mid-Michigan.
Hunting pheasants requires a small game license. The limit is two male pheasants daily, with four in possession.
