Former Clare County Probate Court Employee Sentenced to Jail

A former Clare County probate court employee has been sentenced to jail.

On March 9, Steffi Brasington was driving drunk on US 10 and tried to get away from police.

She pleaded guilty to operating while intoxicated and fleeing and eluding police.

She resigned from her job at the court.

Wednesday she was sentenced to 90 days in jail, 12 months probation, and several fees.
