Donald Trump will be the next President of the United States after Hillary Clinton called him early Wednesday morning to concede.

His opponent Hillary Clinton has been leading in the polls over recent months.

The brash billionaire beat out 15 other republicans to win the nomination, campaigning on change, with a no holds barred approach.

He crisscrossed the nation over the last few weeks, focusing on battlegrounds like Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Florida, appealing to the working class who felt the establishment wasn't looking out for them.

He faced plenty of criticism along the way, even from his own party about things he's said and done in the past.
