More Than 323K Enroll in Healthy Michigan Medicaid Expansion Plan

Posted: Updated:
Governor Rick Snyder announced Thursday that Michigan's Medicare expansion program has exceeded enrollment expectations.

More than 323,000 residents have signed up for the Healthy Michigan Plan since enrollment began on April 1. Of those, more than 230,000 have selected a specific health plan.

Governor Snyder says enrollment is going smoothly.

Applicants must be between ineligible for Medicaid between ages 19 and 64. They must also make up to 133% of the federal poverty level. That's about $16,000 for an individual or $33,000 for a family of four.
