Michigan's Seasonally Adjusted Unemployment Rate Improves Slightly

The state says Michigan's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate rose slightly in the latest month to 7.5%.

The Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget said Wednesday that May's jobless rate was up from 7.4% in April, when it hit the lowest level, in six years.

The national rate for May was 6.3%,  that was unchanged from April.
