Frankfort Vandalism has Neighbors Concerned

Posted: Updated:

Police in Frankfort are working to find out who is behind a recent string of vandalism in town.

Most of the damage happened last week along Michigan Avenue in the city. Property, fences and mailboxes were destroyed.

Neighbors say they are shocked, but believe a group of young people may be behind the crimes.

Police say a bit of mischief after school lets out isn't uncommon but they've never seen a problem this big before.

Police are asking anyone with tips to come forward and want people to know they can remain anonymous if they choose.

Kalin Franks and Jeremy Erikson spent the day talking to neighbors.
