Congressman Benishek Attends Agricultural Outlook

Posted: Updated:
The future of agriculture was the topic of discussion in Traverse City during the second annual Agricultural Outlook event.

The event took place at Jolly Pumpkin Friday afternoon.

More than a dozen farmers, specializing in a number of crops, and U.S. Congressman Dan Benishek attended the meeting.

The event focused on concerns, expectations for crops, and any other issues farmers are dealing with.

Rep. Benishek says conversations like these are important to keep a line of communication between local farmers and Washington.
