Every year the Special Olympics hosts both summer and winter games for more than 20,000 athletes.

But every four years, they select about 50 to take off for the US Summer Games.

This year, Tad Craven of Mt. Pleasant was chosen to compete with Michigan's top athletes at the national games.

The 50 athletes and about 30 staff members will fly to New Jersey tomorrow morning.

They will compete against the best Special Olympians in the nation.

Like any good competitor, Tad has only one thing on his mind, winning.
