Cody joined 9&10 News in May 2014. He is currently a general assignment reporter and the weekend reporter out of the Cadillac Bureau.

Graduating from Northern Michigan University, he has a Bachelor of Science degree in Media Production & New Technology with a dual-minor of English Writing and Communications. 

Before 9&10, Cody was the editor in chief at The North Wind independent student newspaper at NMU. He also was an anchor, producer and director for WNMU TV13 Public Eye News. He has worked at both the Gladwin County Record and Gladwin Voice newspapers as a reporter.

On the side, he enjoys playing his guitar, performing in theatre and taking hikes in the mountains. Not all who wander are lost.

Last but not least, Cody has a deep love for the outdoors and Northern Michigan, having lived most of his life in Gladwin.
