Girls' Soccer District Semifinal Preview

Posted: Updated:
T.C. West has home field advantage for the rest of the district playoffs, which could help them get past Midland Dow.  The Titans have lost to the Chemics in each of the last three district finals.

T.C. West beat their rival T.C. Central 3-0 on Tuesday in the quarterfinals. It was the Titans' 3rd win of the season over their Cherry Capital rival.

In Division 4, we've got our eyes on District 63 in Glen Lake, where Leland and Suttons Bay meet in the first semifinal tomorrow.  The Lakers will host T.C. Liberty in the nightcap.

Expect a lot of scoring in this doubleheader.  The Comets put up a dozen in a 12-0 win over Northport in Tuesday's quarterfinal.  Libby Munoz netted seven goals for Leland.

T.C. Liberty also had no issues finding the back of the net scoring six goals in the first 11 minutes in an 8-0 win over Brethren.

The Norsemen needed OT to get past McBain N.M.C. in another quarterfinal on Tuesday while Glen Lake had a bye into the semis.
