Adopt A Pet Tuesday

Posted: Updated:
This week on adopt a pet Tuesday we have four animals that are in need of a home.

This is Morris, he is a one year old domestic short haired cat who has been at the shelter for seven months. Morris would be good in any home environment and is very friendly and playful. He is neutered and up to date on his shots. You can find him at the Oceana County Animal Shelter.

And this is Marcia. She is a super sweet, calm, friendly and happy Setter Mix who was abandoned. She is considered a special needs girl. Marcia is blind and will need daily eye drops. She does not let the blindness stop her from exploring or from finding you. She loves to go on walks and to cuddle. You can find her at the Homeward Bound Animal Shelter in Manistee.

And Little Boy is a tabby, domestic short hair mix. He is already fixed and declawed. He is sweet and loving and is in need of a good home. You can find him at the Benzie County Animal Shelter.

And last but certainly not least meet Brandy.  A 5 year old Schnauzer. She has a story that will tug at your heart strings. Shelter volunteers Tell us she was rescued from a terrible hoarding situation where she never had human contact. They say she didn't even know what the tv or door bell sounded like. But, since she's been in her foster home for about the past year, she's made tremendous progress trusting people again.  You must have a fenced-in yard to adopt brandy and a dog play-mate for her.  Contact Lake Haven Animal Rescue in Newaygo to meet Brandy.
