MyNorth Tickets Minute: Science, Lifestyle, Wine

Posted: Updated:

From science and illusion, to celebrating life up north and our one-of-a-kind area wines, we have all the details on what's coming up this weekend in this week's MyNorth Tickets Minute.

Jenny Buechel is at sunny Clinch Park on West Grand Traverse Bay to talk events happening this weekend from MyNorthTickets.com:

Just in Roscommon, the Kirtland Center for the Performing Arts welcomes the Freddy Fusion Show. It's a favorite from the Disney Cruise Line, entertaining families with magic and science of illusion. That's happening this Friday.

Also beginning that same night and lasting through Sunday is the Up North Lake & Cottage Show. It's the fifth year of exhibitors gathering in one place with all things related to the Up North lifestyle, and you can hop the booths at the Grand Traverse Civic Center.

And last, this Saturday, the Bluebird Restaurant in Leland is celebrating Michigan Wine Month. It's their Northern Wine Loop New Release Party combining the best of the 2013 vintage and a look ahead into those of 2014. You'll hear from owners and winemakers plus taste food and wine perfectly paired together all from the Leelanau Peninsula.
