Posted: Updated:

Three men have been officially charged for selling heroin and cocaine.

The arrests come after a 5-month investigation of the men.

The Lake County Sheriff says they were selling drugs in Idlewild and Webber Township.

During their investigation, detectives observed several cars visiting the location where the drugs were being sold. They also made a number of controlled buys. Two men were arrested last Friday, and the third earlier this week.

Bob Hilts, Lake County Sheriff said, "he was sure orchestrating a lot of that type of activity in our county, between him and two other individuals, so he was more or less guiding this drug, or controlled substance, sale enterprise and he was primarily our main focus."

Deputies also seized marijuana and cash during their raids.

Danell Henderson, Deshun Downes and Monroe Grimes are all charged with selling heroin and crack cocaine, maintaining a drug house, and having marijuana.

Undercover investigators say they were able to buy drugs from the suspects during the investigation.

Police expect to make more arrests in the investigation.
