MyNorthTickets Minute: Dramatic Play, Acoustic Musicians, Oboe Fanfare

Posted: Updated:

We're just inching toward the weekend, but when it does arrive we've got three performances to enjoy. Jenny Buechel is here with what's happening from MyNorthTickets.com:

You can begin your weekend here at the Old Town Playhouse Studio at the Depot this Friday. It'll be opening night of their latest production called A Steady Rain. It's a dramatic story of two cops in Chicago, it does include some mature content, so you'll want to feel that out before bringing the kids.

Then Saturday, acoustic musicians Jay Ungar and Molly Mason perform at the Dennos. You've heard their music in movies like Legends of the Fall and Brother's Keeper. The Grammy-winning duo takes the Milliken Auditorium stage at 8pm.

Finally when Sunday rolls around, the Traverse Symphony Orchestra pairs up with James Roe for an Oboe Fanfare. That's happening out at Corson Auditiorium in Interlochen.
