Caldwell Admits To Accidentally Killing Girlfriend

An update on the Traverse City man who killed his girlfriend, saying he was trying to take his own life, but accidentally shot her instead.

Today, Robert Caldwell pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter, firing a gun while drunk causing death, resisting arrest, and another gun-related charge.

Monica Anderson was found dead in the couple's apartment on Aero Park Drive in November.

Caldwell will be sentenced in April, and faces up to 17 years in prison.
