Feedback at 5:00: How Much Do You Rely On Technology Like GPS?

GPS can be a helpful technology to get from place to place.

But it can also be a hindrance, especially in areas with spotty coverage.

Over the weekend, a teen and her young cousin from Canada spent the night in their car after getting lost trying to find a McDonalds in Northern Michigan.

The sheriff says the pair was following their GPS which took them down a side road, and they got stuck.

The next morning, the teen walked to a business and call her mom.

The sheriff says while it's good this story has a happy ending, it's important to use common sense with GPS and other technology.
