PLYMOUTH - Sault Ste Marie hockey was the last team standing in the Northern Michigan again this year.  The Blue Devils also made it back to the Division 3 State Final.  However, they could not take home their first title since 1989.  Farmington beat Sault Ste Marie 2-1 at Compuware Arena Saturday afternoon.

The Falcons jumped out to a 2-0 lead on the Blue Devils thanks to a pair of goals from Jason Petras in the First Period.

Sault Ste Marie got one back 18 seconds into the Second Period when Blake Mastaw found the back of the net.  However, the Blue Devils could not net the equalizer.

Sault Ste Marie finishes runner-up in Division 3 hockey for a second-straight season and finished the 2013-14 campaign with a record of 25-3-2.
