Sault Hockey back in the State Final with 6-2 win

PLYMOUTH - Chase Gamelin had a hand in five of the six goals scored by Sault Ste Marie. He helped the Blue Devils beat Monroe St. Mary Catholic Central 6-2 Friday to secure a return trip to the Division 3 Hockey State Final.

The Blue Devils will matchup with Farmington 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at Compurware Arena in Plymouth.

Gamelin finished the game with two goals and three assists. Will Gauthier also had a big game for the Blue Devils, scoring three goals and assisting on another.

Sault Ste Marie lost to Cranbrook-Kingswood 4-2 in the Division 3 State Final last season. The Blue Devils are looking for their first hockey state title since 1989.
