Great Lakes Get a Great Boost in Water Levels

After concerns that water levels in The Great Lakes were getting historically low. The US Army Corps of Engineers says there's been a rebound.

Today's report says Lake Superior rose an extra two feet last year.

Lake Michigan and Huron added 20 inches

It was a strong comeback from January of 2013, when those lakes hit their lowest level ever recorded.

Heavy snowfall the past two winters and a wet spring helped the lakes recover.
