MSP West Branch Looking For Information On Storage Unit Break-Ins

Posted: Updated:

State troopers are investigating multiple break-ins from two self-storage companies in Iosco County.

Investigators from the West Branch Post say about 40 units were hit in mid-December in Alabaster Township.

In February, about 30 more units were broken into in the same area at a different storage facility.

Police are asking the public if anyone has information or if anyone saw unusual activity during the overnight hours along US-23 where both storage facilities are located.

Crime Stoppers is offering $1,000 for information leading to an arrest. Callers can remain anonymous. You can contact Crime Stoppers at 800-422-JAIL.

Those with information can also contact the Michigan State Police with information by calling 989-345-0956. A tip voicemail box can be accessed after business hours by pressing "3."

Police are continuing to investigate both incidents.
