Week 1: Marathon Finisher Suggests Running With A Group

Temperatures may be in the teens and snow may still be on the ground, but there are plenty of dedicated runners already training for the Bayshore Marathon.

Each week we're going to introduce you to one of these hardcore runners in training, and give tips on how to prepare for a 26 mile long feat.

Meet Rose Coleman, a self described couch potato turned marathon finisher.

This week, Rose is getting back in gear and starting a training regimen with a group.

Rose says, "the first year I had only been running a couple months and I had never ran with a group so I didn't know anything about training, but having a group and having a training plan and a coach to give you pointers has been a huge improvement."
