UPDATE: Ogemaw Co. Man Accused Of Drunk Driving Causing Death

New details on what lead up to a deadly crash in Ogemaw County, that resulted in the arrest of a local man.

The Ogemaw County Sheriff tells 9&10 News Ian Marshick ran a stop sign at Sage Lake Road and M-55 in Logan Township on Wednesday, February 5.

The sheriff says Marshick broad-sided another car.

 We were able to confirm through the Commission On Aging, the victim was one of their employees, Tamra Edgerton of Hale.

 The sheriff says her car rolled a few times, and she later died from her injuries.

 Marshick was arrested and charged with drunk driving causing death, and reckless driving causing death.

 He is also charged as a habitual offender, with previous convictions unrelated to this case.

 If Marshick posts his $300,000 bond, he must surrender his driver's license.
