Emmet Co. Man Accused Of Abusing Infant

Police arrest a Conway man for abusing a 4-month-old child.  

An ambulance was called for the infant with a possible broken leg Tuesday morning.  

When police arrived at the home in Alanson in Emmet County it was obvious the child had been physically abused.  

Police say the injuries to the child are extensive.

Lawrence Venchenko was arrested for first degree felony child abuse, knowingly causing harm to a child. If convicted, he could face life in prison.
  
Right now, Venchenko is in Emmet County Jail on a $50,000 bond and his arraignment is set for February 3rd.
